Excellence in Education & Research
The B.Sc. Animation, Digital Filmmaking & VFX programme places strong emphasis on English communication skills, recognizing their importance in storytelling, collaboration, and professional growth within the media and entertainment industry. Students are required to complete four Common English Courses from the first to fourth semester to build a solid foundation in communication. The programme offers a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and practical training in animation, filmmaking, and visual effects, enabling students to develop both creative and technical competencies. A distinctive feature of the programme is its focus on experiential learning and industry exposure. In the sixth semester, students undergo in-house training under professional animators, filmmakers, or VFX experts. Additionally, they conduct a field study among local or independent creators, identifying real-world challenges and proposing innovative, marketable solutions using the design thinking process, which they document in a detailed report. During the final year, students choose a specialization in a core area such as 3D Animation, Visual Effects, or Direction, engage in field research and industry training, and submit a comprehensive report based on their specialization by the end of the sixth semester.
